This workshop presented three speakers from the State Administration Institute (LAN), namely Muhammad Syafiq, S.IP., M.A., Andrit Pries Anantyo, S.H., and Frenky Kristian Saragi, S.H., M.Han. The three shared knowledge and experience related to the preparation of SOPs and Service Standards that are effective, accountable, and in line with the principles of bureaucratic reform and the development of Integrity Zones.
The activity was officially opened by the Dean of FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, Dr. Susanta, M.Si. In his remarks, he emphasized that the preparation of SOPs and Service Standards is a strategic step in realizing professional, transparent, and service-oriented faculty governance.
"The development of the Integrity Zone not only focuses on fulfilling administrative aspects, but also demands changes in work culture and continuous improvement of service quality. SOPs and Service Standards are important instruments to ensure that the entire service process runs effectively, measurably, and provides certainty for service users," said Dr. Susanta.
In the material presentation session, the speakers explained various important aspects in the preparation of SOPs and Service Standards, ranging from business process identification, service flow mapping, preparation of service performance indicators, to evaluation mechanisms and continuous improvement. The material presented also emphasized the importance of alignment between regulations, organizational needs, and service user expectations.
In contrast to the training that only focuses on delivering the material, this workshop combines the lecture format with practical simulation. Through this approach, participants not only gain conceptual understanding, but also get the opportunity to directly prepare and evaluate draft SOPs and Service Standards in accordance with their respective work units.
The atmosphere of the discussion took place interactively with various questions and inputs from participants related to the challenges of implementing SOPs and service standards in the university environment. The resource persons provided assistance and constructive feedback to ensure that the documents prepared could be implemented effectively and support the improvement of service quality.
Through this activity, the FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Integrity Zone Development Team hopes that all work units can have more structured, clear, and service-oriented SOPs and Service Standards that are oriented towards service user satisfaction. The results of the workshop are also expected to be an important foundation in supporting the implementation of bureaucratic reform, strengthening performance accountability, and achieving the development targets of the Integrity Zone within FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta.
As a higher education institution that continues to be committed to improving the quality of services and governance, FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta will continue to develop various programs to strengthen human resource capacity and improve institutional systems to realize excellent, professional, and integrity public services.
